The 5,783 voting members of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences have returned their completed Oscar nominations ballots to PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) on Friday, January 13. Ballots received after that deadline have not been counted. In the majority of the categories, PwC will tabulate the ballots using the preferential voting system. The 84th Academy Awards nominations will be announced live on Tuesday, January 24, at 5:30 a.m. PT in the Academy’s Samuel Goldwyn Theater.
